Advisor Partner Standards

How we select advisors

Every advisor in our network is reviewed against the same documented standards before admission. These standards apply to our advisor partners, who are independent and are not employees or agents of Retirement Income Specialists.

🏅 Securities LicensedSeries 7, plus Series 63 and 65, or the Series 66 combination.
🛡️ Insurance LicensedCurrent state life and health licensing, so securities and insurance solutions are both available.
📋 IndependentNot captive to any single carrier or product line.
⚖️ Fiduciary PlanningParticipating advisors provide financial planning and investment advisory services in a fiduciary capacity when acting within an advisory relationship.
🎓 10+ Years of ExperienceA minimum of ten years helping clients navigate retirement and retirement income decisions.
🔍 Regulatory ReviewWe review each advisor's public regulatory record before admission to the network.

How we pair you

We match on state licensing first, then on the kind of planning your answers point toward. An introduction is not an endorsement of any product or strategy, and it is not a recommendation. Any decision remains between you and the advisor.

The standards above describe our admission criteria. They are not a guarantee of any advisor's future conduct or results, and they do not substitute for your own due diligence. You can check any professional's public record through FINRA BrokerCheck and your state insurance department.
